What is the Cathedral Fund?
The Cathedral Fund ensures that our students have all the tools, resources and support they need to succeed in becoming young leaders in our community. It provides our students with a school campus for them to learn, grow, and develop. It provides them with a committed teaching staff who are agile in responding to our student’s educational needs, and in-house social workers to offer them social emotional support throughout their high school career.
In sum, this fund allows Cathedral to address the annual financial necessities needed so we can provide a top-notch holistic education to over 300 young scholars.
Why give to the Cathedral Fund?
Your investment in our students will yield amazing results! All, 100 percent, of our students have graduated and have been accepted to college for nearly 20 consecutive years! That is unprecedented to have all of your students graduate on time and to have access to more opportunities by going to college. You are unlocking doors of opportunity for them.
Secondly, it is important to note that Cathedral is different from other Catholic schools. Most private schools rely on 80 percent of their revenue through tuition—at Cathedral, it is less than 15 percent. That’s because we have committed to not let finances be a barrier for any student.
Our average student’s family income is less than $44,000 annually…making a strong, Catholic, private education seem next to impossible!
But we are a school strongly committed to racial, social, and economic equity providing our young people with a quality education because they deserve these opportunities just like anyone else does.
The only way we can provide them with the gift of education is through the generosity of donors like you! Your gift to the Cathedral Fund allows us to provide invaluable opportunities to 300 young scholars every single day.
