Golden Diploma

Golden Diploma is a special honor presented to alumni celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation. Each year, the jubilee class members are invited to take part in commencement exercises to receive this distinction. The tradition pays homage to the 95+ year legacy that Cathedral alumni have created and cultivated at Boston’s historic South End campus.

If you have any questions or need to make a correction on your diploma please contact Amy Malkemes, Director of Advancement at amalkemes@cathedralhighschool.net.

Congratulations to the Class of 1972

We will honor the class of 1972 on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11:00am for your golden diploma celebration. Each attendee will receive a Golden Diploma to celebrate their 50th anniversary from their original graduation. The ceremony and reception with light refreshments will be held in Cathedral’s Applied Learning Center.  After the program at 12 noon we will be giving your class a tour of the school campus and gymnasium.

At 1:30pm there will be group seating for the high school graduation in which all Golden Diploma recipients are invited to attend, but is optional. During the regular high school graduation at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, you will be acknowledged as a group. The graduation will take place from 2:00pm – 3:15pm.  Please contact Amy Malkemes, Director of Advancement at amalkemes@cathdralhighschool.net with any questions.
