Dear Cathedral Community Member,
As we all know, change in any organization is inevitable and I am writing to communicate a change at Cathedral. Dr. Oscar Santos has resigned as Headmaster, effective August 30, 2019.
Dr. Santos has accepted a position as Executive Director of the Center for Collaborative Education, a national organization dedicated to transforming schools for student success. Dr. Santos leaves Cathedral having served for six years as Headmaster. Under his leadership the school has built a strong record of success. Although we are disappointed, we wish him well in his new position.
Preparations for the 2019-2020 school year have been underway for some time and Cathedral is ready to open in September under the leadership of Nampeera Lugira, the Principal, and her senior staff. They are eager to welcome the new and returning students to Cathedral.
In the interim I will serve as the Headmaster until a replacement is named. The entire staff at Cathedral and the Board of Trustees will continue the Catholic mission of Cathedral in educating students to become successful and respected members of the community.
