The Business of Doing Good, a social entrepreneur program for middle school kids, is offering a special session on Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. until Noon at Cathedral 7-12 High School in the South End of Boston.

Kids: Learn how to persuade your parents, teachers, and friends! Jeff Sorenson, co-founder of optiMize, goes through scientifically proven principles for persuasive and sticky communication.   “Persuasion” isn’t a dirty word but rather an important skill to learn for kids who want to collaborate, persuade, and compromise to drive meaningful impact. Jeff relates these scientific concepts to real-world examples that young people can relate to.

Jeff is the co-founder of optiMize, a University of Michigan student organization that helps students bring to life their ideas using entrepreneurship and social justice.

Open to rising 5th through 9th graders. Attendance is limited. The cost is free but donations are welcome.
